Dialectical Behavior Therapy is an evidence-based approach to counseling that has been found effective for the treatment of a range of mental health disorders. DBT focuses on building skills in four areas: mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotion regulation. Kim draws from these skills in the counseling process to help her clients build resilience and feel empowered to live their best life.
Trauma-Informed Care
Trauma-Informed Care takes into account the traumatic experiences in a client’s life and how they have impacted the mental health concerns they are experiencing in the present.
